I have 4xP100's, a P110 and a Tapo camera. All were working fine till I changed my router.

The 4xP100's and the camera have all reconnected smoothly (first attempt) to the new routers' SSID and work fine as before. However the P110 refuses to connect.

I've tried all the recommened solutions - P110 reset, bluetooth off/on, etc, etc (multiple times), without success. LED is flashing orange & green.

Any suggestions?

Also, I've noticed that the P110 is broadcasting an SSID of it's own - "Tapo_plug_20E1". Is this normal? Is it an indication of the fault?

Thanks for any advice on this.

Thanks for your suggestions. It somehow seems to be an Android issue. I'd tried two different Android devices without success. (Neither one could find or connect to the P110). I just tried using an old iPhone and it's been able to find the P110, and then go successfully through the wifi connection and final setup. Problem solved. Thanks.

 Hello  @PeterO2

Tapo plug broadcasts SSID  in factory default state (Led amber and green), that means plug has not connected to router Wi-Fi yet.

- Verify wifi password and confirm correct wifi password is put in during set up

 - For dual - band router, try to  use different 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz wifi names on router, and connect plug to 2.4Ghz wifi

- Make sure VPN is off on the phone

- try to connect P110 plug to a mobile hotspot wifi, update firmware, then reset and connect back to router's wifi network.

If still the same results, can I know at which step the set up failed and can I have a photo of error? the model of phone and its Andriod or IOS version?

@PeterO2  Just notice you get this resolved by trying a different mobile phone, nice try!
