I have a t100 motion sensor on the main entrance to my house.

 

For months, I've had a smart action set to turn on a P100 plug (connected to a table lamp) for a few seconds, everytime the T100 detects any movement. My main entrance is quite dark, hence this setup.

 

Since the night of JAN 21st, this automation just stopped working.

 

I can check on the Tapo app that all the devices are working properly and the T100 sensor detects movement and displays it on the app in real time.

 

The P100 plug is also working properly and I can turn it on and off on the app, in real time, with no lag at all.

 

It's just that the automation feature just stopped working.

 

I've tried deleting this automation and creating a similar one. When I do this, the movement triggers the plug to turn on just once, as intended, but it doesn't work anymore after that first time.

 

I can see the T100 log and it's detecting all movements correctly ("movimento detetado"), it just doesn't trigger the smart action ("O movimento desencadeado...") when that happens, since JAN 21st:

Weirdly, it just started working normally today, after 12:19:44 (GMT 0:00).

 

I did absolutely nothing about it, after posting this, so I guess it was an issue on TP-LINK's end, and they solved it. No one contacted me yet either.

 

Anyway... problem solved!

What's the model of your Tapo hub? Do you see any event log on T100's device page?

 

Can you check the smart action History (App ->Smart tab ->Upper right corner), are there any relevant error records there?

My hub is a H100, V1.0.

It didn't record any errors at all.
