Hi @ahhydri I honestly don't have an answer for this question now. I would update the thread once it's planned to support WireGuard VPN server on Archer AX6000 V1.

  @Kevin_Z  So, I eventually factory reset my ax11000 and upgraded to latest firmware via the web admin. After a few weeks of decent operation I am now getting the poor internet message again - only this time it is always at ten to the hour. Today it froze out at 08:50, 09:50, 18:50, 19:50 and just now at 23:50. Nothing in the logs at all (empty) - devices remain connected to Wi-Fi but internet drops for roughly 60 seconds before kicking in again. Virgin media state no issues so I am lost. Are there any scheduled router tasks or some config that happens on these units at this time - at ten to the hour?

@Bhjs77 Yes, we do.

 

Archer AX55 has already got an early released version for WireGuard VPN as you can see from the below thread, and there will be more models in the near future:

@RobbieB50 That is really bad news. Would you like to work with our support engineers for further analysis? I honestly have no clue about that issue either.

Is your AX6000 a US version or an EU version? As I can confirm the latest official firmware for the US version has been publicly released last week. If yours is a US version, please check for the updates on your router web GUI and confirm if you can get it.

 

If yours is another version, please wait for the new official firmware for another day or two, and you will detect it soon also.

Odd, it is US but doesn't appear to detect any updates and is still stuck on the 2021 firmware. There doesn't appear to be any new official firmware posted on the website here either https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax6000/v1/#Firmware

Hello Kevin.

I updated Archer AX6000 v1.0 to version 1.3.0 Build 20221208 rel.45145(4555).

 

Some of my observations:

1. For such a router, the period between updates is too long. Over a year is a lot.

2. There is no EasyMesh.

3. For the Samba server, it is still not possible to add additional users and specify access rights to directories. Two default users: admin and visit are not enough. In addition, they have access to the entire disk resource. That's not the point.

4. Removed the Traffic Monitor feature - no comment.

5. For known devices, there are still too often cases when devices connected to the router fall into the list of unknown devices.

6. There are too few icons in the Tether application for this router that can be associated with logged in devices.

7. In the Tether application, messages about connecting a new device come in the form of push notifications. And this message should appear in the window symbolized by an envelope icon next to the device name. Unfortunately, nothing falls into the list of notifications.

 

Generally, if I expected such support and development for this router, I would not buy it. Unfortunately.
