Archer C80 2.0 EasyMesh
Hello,
I recently updated the firmware of my Archer C80 v1, and noticed the Easy Mesh feature. I ordered another C80 in the hope that I will be able to set it up as a satellite router. However, the retailer selling the router did not specify the hardware version, and it turns out to be a V2, which doesn't support Easy Mesh yet.
Will the firmware for the V2 be updated to implement Easy Mesh? I couldn't find any information regarding it, and seems odd that a V2 is behind V1 on firmware updates.
Thanks.

Dear @AllegedGoose
Slowly, as TP-Linkn spokesmen said on this forum all Archer C80 hardware versions will receive the EasyMesh update.
Here I am waiting for the most important thing for me and for my Archer AX73 V2 and Archer C80 V1 to appear firmware for EasyMesh that will support Ethernet Backhaul.

Thank you for your answer, on this page https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c80/v2/ there are actually three hardware versions:
Archer C80(EU)_V1
Archer C80(EU)_V2
Archer C80(EU)_V2.20
I have V2, which seems to be different from V2.20, hence my question.

It's been more than a year since the release of this hardware version. Has the Archer C80(EU)_V2 been forsaken? Every other version has had several updates, except for this. https://www.tp-link.com/ro/support/download/archer-c80/v2/

Does your C80(EU)_V2 support OneMesh ? If it does you can use it as your main router and connect C80(EU)_V1 as a satellite router using WPS button - more details in this post.
