Model: Tapo P110

Firmware Version:

I have two P110's both monitoring computer equipment. It currently very easy to accidentally turn them off via the app. Could you add an option for a two stage power on/off to prevent accidental deactivation?

  @RustyBucket

thank you for sharing new ideas and the scenarios with the community!

It sounds to be helpful for situations like accidental deactivation, it can happen sometime but does not seem to be very common.

Can you check if this helps a little bit :

Unfavorite the device and move the device to a separate room to avoid possible accidental press

  • Un-Favorite the device so it does not show in the First Favorite page (Long press to unfavorite)
  • Move the device to a  Room and put that room at the end.
  • Tap ALL in the device list>   tapping the ' 3 dots' on the side of my devices ,in Navigation, set the sort to the bottom
