It makes no sense that this basic features isn't supported especially for different houses or rooms. Many people with one tp-link account, will have more than one set of cameras. They will leave their house and go to the office and should have the ability to set the detection settings for their house or for a group of cameras to away. When they get to the office they can set their office cameras to home mode. When they leave the office they can set their office cameras to away. When the go to their house they can set their house cameras to home. Now if you have cameras in two different locations, you have to set the detection settings all at once or one by one. This is impossible now to manage cameras setup in different locations or rooms unless there is a shortcut option to setup detection settings by a group of cameras. This shortcut option exists for privacy mode, but not for detection settings. How about people who have setup cameras in their office, home office, those with a holiday house, a seperate garage, outside storage room etc? How about if a parent setup a few cameras in the basement of a house and wants to watch if the children go into the basement? If the parents want to manage all the detection settings for all the cameras in the basement they have to change the camera detection settings one by one or for all the cameras in the house at the same time and there is no shortcut to change all the detection settings for just the group of basement cameras. Please include this basic feature that should be a part of the shortcut options to group camera detection settings for different houses or rooms.

Yes this would be a great option. I'm also having problems with this. While it was the main reason for me to get a Tapo. I've tried to make a home and away automation but it doesn't seem to work. Would be nice if it was automated or able to tell google assistant to turn it on or off. Or at least be able to make a shortcut of these home and away modus buttons. So we can add it on our phone home screen as widget. Now we can only create our own shortcuts for widgets. which not always work. When i try it, it stops notifying me when i use away modus, so i still have to open the app to turn the notifications back on every single day, twice. When i leave and when i go to bed.

I see this threat had been made over a year ago and still no solution. TBH I see a lot of threats with old problems that haven't been fixed for over a year.

This makes me feel like I wasted money, and a lot of people think this way. (Samr with integration of Google home and assistant, does not work with cameras except for vieuwen trough Chromecast, but not at all in any other way)
