Tapo C200 V2 Software Version 1.1.19 about the Update

Will there be a software update for the camera? When will the update be published? V1 devices received an update, but V2 did not receive an update.

We roll out the new firmware for the Tapo devices gradually. For your inquiry, please pay attention to the Firmware Release Note on the official website, and we will update the firmware info to the official website in time if new firmware is available.

On the official website>search for the model of your product>go to the Support page>select your product's hardware version, and tap the Firmware Release Note. Here we take Tapo C200 V1 as an example.

Interesting. Didn't knew you could do that.
Well when this is said, most of the hardware doesn't have the "Firmware Release Note" tap available.
Lets take you example with https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tapo-c200/v1/#Firmware-Release-Notes, there you can only see the "Firmware Release Note" tap for V1, nothing for V2, V3 and V4.
And it we take Tapo L510E at https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tapo-l510e/. You can only see "Firmware Release Note" tap for V2, and nothing for V1, V1.2, and V3.

The Firmware Release Note section is a new section on the official website, that's why you may find that some previous firmware is not posted there. Do not worry, the firmware released in the future should be there.
