Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20230327 Rel. 54700

Hi

 

This morning, I was browsing thru facebook and suddenly my internet signal went down.  I then proceeded to try to connect again and it asked me for the password and I was able to login again but again wifi signal dropped.  What I did was just reboot the mesh network as a whole.

In the meantime, I decided to login to the device and check out the system logs.  I saw a weird thing.  At Sep 28 7:10 am something changed and the system logs started to date the logs as Mar 27 13:XX

Now I am trying to upload the log file but it wont let me.  I just want someone to check and see what happened. It says Failed to Upload.

Hi, nice to see you again.

The system's initial time would be updated after the firmware upgrade--so you will see now it is 20230327 which is also the current firmware release date. And after rebooting the Deco, it would clear the previous logs. So now, you would see the system logs start generating since the last time you rebooted Deco. 

 

As for uploading files, Do you mean the firmware bin file right?

Did you use this version-Deco XE75(US)_V2_1.2.1 Build 20230601

  @David-TP Should I go ahead and update to this new version even if it si not official yet in the HK area?  I don't want to lose warranty

  @David-TP OH, for some reason, I was trying trying to upload the system logs to show the log messages BUT it kept failing to upload for some reason.

@David-TP I was looking at the firmware upgrade bin file and it seems from the name description it si for the US, EU, JP CA and AU. Should it be installed in the HK area?
