Hello,

I have run into issues with the following:

Deco X55 Pros will go offline randomly, main modem is still online when the Deco X55s go offline. All of them will show a red status light. The only way to have them go back online is to hard reset all the Deco X55s. This will fix it temporarily from anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. Then it will go offline again. 

This occured for both V1_1.2.2 Build 20230920 & V1_1.2.3 Build 20231013. The only recent change prior to updating to either of these two versions was that I allocated all my smart home devices into an IoT network. This uses a seperate name and password for the network. I also enabled ipV6 along with priority devices. 

Past that, the system was stable on 1.2.1 for about a month with no issues. 

I'm looking to see if there is any fixes.

I ended up selling it to a friend. This issue arises when you use the ethernet backhaul.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

I noticed you have submitted a support ticket as well.  When I checked your TP-link email ID, I noticed you have downgraded back to 1.2.1.

So has the disconnection issue stopped after reverting back to 1.2.1?

 

May I know who is your internet service provider and can I have the model number of the cable modem?

Our engineers would love to help us locate issue. If possible, You could try to update the firmware to the latest 1.2.3 again, then when the internet dropped out again, could you please reply the support ticket #TKID231216758 with the following details:

1. A screenshot of the  IPV4 settings under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

2. Please save a copy of the system log from web UI when the main Deco turned to solid red again.(Please do not reboot/restart Deco before saving the system logs)

it says above you downgraded??? How did you do that and did it fix the problem??

 

Ive ordered x55 pros and they still havent arrived. I want to make sure how I can get them to 1.2.1

  @shirousagi88 ok, so you didn't downgrade the firmware and it didn't fix the problem? If so, is anyone happy with deco's?
