1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding.
2. For Deco M4_V2, the firmware downgrade(back to the official 1.5.8 version) needs to be implemented via firmware recovery.
3. For Deco S4_V2, it would revert to the official 1.5.1 directly via web UI.
4. How to update the firmware via web UI.

I disable ipv6, wifi principal only in 5ghz and ioT in 2.4 ghz.
Guest wifi disable.
QoS disable.
Roaming on
Beamforming on
With dual band note working good.
And no other problem.

Definitely is. I had problems with main DECO when my ISO regularly rebooted my router - the DECO switched his own DHCP on causing mess on the network and going red till manual reboot. With 1.7 beta this is gone....
The firmware is running stable for several months now!

Thanks a bunch for the responses. Guess I'll go ahead and use the beta firmware. I don't understand why it's taken so long to just get a stable 1.7 update. It was supposed to be coming a long time ago/ Is it still planned @David-TP ?

@Lalolelendo 1.6.2 is for the EU version of M4.
For US version users, 1.6.1 is the latest stable firmware
