Automation with energy consumption
Hello, if the socket allows you to measure electricity consumption, does it also allow, if I create automation in the Tapo app with it, to use e.g. instantaneous consumption or voltage, power as a trigger? I.e. eg "Add starter-> Start device -> P110 -> when socket current < 100mA -> start another socket"? Thanks.

@olafrv I'd like this feature so that I could turn off an under desk heater when the monitor power drops (pc goes to sleep). This is for my wife who is always forgetting to turn the thing off!

Sorry, my english ist poor, but there is no possibility to copy&paste from G-translator :(

I wish for it - like many others! But I'm not sure if TP is even interested. They should be glad that many customers buy their products and have so much suggestions for improvement!

Clearly this is never going to happen. It's like TP-Link don't even care once they have the sale.
I decided to try another brand and they work flawlessly with Home Assistant, telling me when my washing machine has finished. I bought Meross MSS315 plugs. They are Matter enabled, but don't use this set up as Matter can't give energy readings. Just set them up as a normal smart plug and you're flying.
I was a bit dubious as I had difficulty with Meross a few years back, but they have come on leaps and bounds.
