I have a notification to update firmware but it always fails , been trying for a couple of days but it always fails with both wifi and hard wired with the same result.

Hi,
You can try the following steps and check if they will help.
1. Reboot the camera.
2. Disable the firewall or antivirus setting on the home router if there is one.
3. Try to update the firmware again.
If not, can you share your steps when updating the firmware, and send me a picture of the error message?
What's the model number of your router?
