Note:
1. *According to the user feedback and our further test, this 1.5.1 version does not support reverting to 1.4.1 via downgrade firmware recovery directly.
-Ever since 1.3.0, the firmware bin file has been over 32MB which passes the maximum file size of the HTTP uboot upgrade tool. So if you want to revert to 1.4.1, please refer to the following suggestions:
- Still run a firmware recovery on one of the satellites Deco X50 first.
- Try to upload an older official version, 1.2.2_Build_230301.zip for example,
- Then update to 1.4.1 from 1.2.2 via web UI.
- If this process works for the satellite Deco X50, We could repeat it on the main Deco later.
2. Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date.
3. Some features might not be available when there are other models in the Mesh network.

Hi, I would like to follow up on your case via email and please check whether you could receive my email.
Can I have more details about the issue here "Users have random disconnections since the upgrade"?
Could you please help me check which situation is like your case in the following post:
Fix unstable connection when connected to the Deco network
Just curious, have you tried firmware recovery on the other Deco X50_V1?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi again,
yes i've tried both Deco X50_V1, same result.
i've received your email with the early access firmware, i will try and upload it this evening.
Also it's not an unstable connection, the wifi is connected but WAN is like dropping packets for 1-5 seconds making apps like Microsoft Teams to disconnect or show message of pure quality.
This happens every 2-3 hours for no reason ( no large downloads, no torrents ).
After 10 seconds the message goes away and Teams is back to normal.
My connection is Fiber 300/30 using ONT in bridge mode with Main VOIP Modem Router ( have to use an extra Router for VOIP Telephony) and PPPoE (MTU 1480) on Deco M50_V1.
With previous Firmware 1.4.1 everything was working as expected except the Force selection of WAN ( didn't exist as an option ).
One more thing noticed is that server vpn configuration is not working as with 1.4.1, but this may have something to do with me and not the Deco.

update:
Had intel drivers downgraded and there was no disconnection on WiFi.
Yesteray I had spare time and did some test.
In a 3 hours window I left two ping -t open, one on 8.8.8.8 and another on on 192.168.68.1.
After some time there was ping timeouts (3) on 8.8.8.8 and no timeout on 192.168.68.1.
Same happened after 1 hour and after 2 hours.
There was no timeout on 192.168.68.1 but there was 3 timeouts on 8.8.8.8.
If this happens when playing a game or having a Conference Video Call then a disconnection or Lag happens. I think that this problem first occurred after enabling specific WAN selection .

I have the same problem as @Billmanakos. In the logs of the Deco I see that it's not obtaining an WAN IP-address for a few seconds on the same as the devices doesn't have a connection. This causes all the devices loosing the internet connection.
We are listing to the radio via Internet (TuneIn) and then you notice this happens a lot.

That's right, it looses WAN Connection for 2-3 seconds, then the PPPoE is going dial and restores the WAN.

That's indeed exactly the same that happens here. The only difference is that I have a cable connection and it should only do a DHCP request to my modem.

Did you manage to do a Downgrade with 1.4.1 firmware?

Hi, Since you are on a new build 20240311 version, Did you still experience the same issue that "br-wan" link is constantly down in the system logs?
Would the main Deco X50 turn red during the wan packet loss?
Usually, if the WAN detection failed, the LED would turn red but I noticed it hasn't been mentioned by either you or Arrows. So I was wondering if it was frequently occurring to interfere with live streaming/online gaming but not so regularly as to limit online detection.
Wait for your reply and best regards.

hi again , yes the problem is still there after the latest build, the log file posted is from that build.
it happens so quickly that I didn't noticed the change of the led to red. I will keep an eye on that .
also tried again the downgrade recovery procedure with no luck , after 19% it drops the firmware upgrade with the same message.
