VX1800v cannot connect to Sky
Just bought a VX1800v
Cannot get it to connect to Sky broadband (UK) I currently have a VR2100 which is working ok, but I cannot get the VX1800 to work.
I have tried the quick setup with the Tether app, SKY(MER)_VDSL - but, I don't get the option to add a username & password, and then there's No connection.
Tried to do it with a laptop connected via ethernet, but in the Quick Setup ISP list I only have the option of Plusnet_VDSL or Other. Yes, I've tried 'other' and that doesn't work.

Hi, could you please share with us screenshots of Status page and also the Internet Settings page on the VX1800v web interface?
For comparison, you could also check if the VR2100 internet settings is exactly the same or not, share with us screenshots as well.

As I said in my initial post,
I can't set the internet settings the same as the VR2100 as the VX1800 only has the ISP options of Plusnet_VDSL or Other.
The vr2100 has loads in this drop-down, including SKY(MER)_VDSLwhich (I believe) is the ISP setting that I need.
I don't think showing you screenshots of these pages will help, as currently I have the vx1800 working by having it connected to the old Sky provided router via ethernet, which isn't the way I wanted it to work. I bought this model so I wouldn't need to use the sky router, just like I had it set up with the vr2100, which I also bought for this exact reason.

@Technaudio I am having the same issue. Waiting for tp link engineers to respond via email ticket. I think it's an issue with the firmware.

if it is indefinite, I will return the device to my supplier for a refund.
