Hi

why my smart device only works with same modem?

My web cam model is Tapo C210

I set the time with Iran 3.30Hours 

I turned off my mobile network and closed VPN . 

but still it says that  " this device can only be controlled locally ?

I checked this problem with my local ISP Customer Support and they said that there is no problem with ISP and internet , only i should set the clock of the Tapo application to Tehran - Iran time , i did all , but still works only with local network. 

my mobile is Xiaomi - Poco F3 , Android 14.

Please help .

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if you fail to control the camera remotely.
What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?
 

If the problem remains, please help confirm the following information.
1) Send me(Solla-topee) the MAC address of your Tapo camera via a private message.
2) Your network diagram, such as ISP—wireless router ))) ((( Tapo C210.
3) The model number of your wireless router.
