The C6 V4 and its other siblings will get a "L2TP over IPSec VPN Server" in firmware version 1.13.7 and later.
There is already a beta version of firmware 1.13.7 out for testing.

Also i have 2 Archer C6 V4 both are connected via easymesh ethernet backhaul, should i update them both to beta version you suggested? Hi, usually, if your TP-Link router supports Cloud service, you do not have to manually download and install the firmware. You can simply click the Upgrade icon and the router itself will complete the whole process automatically.
As DoH settings function on your main router, it is suggested to update the main router. So there should be no need to reset and reconfigure.

@MysticMac before this update was there any option to add any CUSTOM DNS servers like Adguard's DNS over HTTPS other than the hardcoded ones such as Google, Cloudflare & Quad9?
Thanks
