Bought a C220 indoor camera. The Pairing fails, it's connecting to the WiFi without issues, strong signal, but failed when being paired to my account.

 

Already have smart plugs operating on my account and the troubleshooting sections have zero information on ideas to try other than reset the camera and repeat the process (repeated it 4 times, consistently fails at the same spot).

 

Any ideas?

  @Solla-topee thank you. I tried another router reset and then it paired. It actually said the pairing failed again but Alexa detected it and a moment later it appeared in the app, so not entirely sure what the issue was, but it's working now.

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot when failing to configure the camera.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?
 

If the problem remains, please help confirm:
    1. What's the model number of your wireless router? Do you have internet when connecting to router's Wi-Fi?
    2. Please check if your router has special settings, such as MAC Filtering, ACL, Firewall, etc., that may block the camera from connecting to its Wi-Fi network. If so, disable/remove the settings for a try.
    3. If your router has the same 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi name, change the 2.4G Wi-Fi name for a try.
