Can I have the device model? Please ensure it's OS or system is up-to-date.

If the Realme GT Master Edition is having difficulty connecting to the C80's wireless network stably, I recommend contacting phone support to check for any issues with the phone’s settings. Additionally, you can try resetting the phone's Wi-Fi settings and reconnecting to the network.

If there are no EasyMesh extenders or satellite devices in the network, please ensure that EasyMesh is disabled on the Archer C80 and monitor the phone's connectivity for stability.

How about the wireless icon on the Realme Gt master edition? Does the wireless connection disconnect completely or does it still show connected by no internet?

If it is the latter, please try to change the DNS settings on the phone. Try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. You may Google that or contact phone support if you're not sure how to modify the DNS settings on the phone.

  @Kevin_Z

Hello!

I have this router, V1. Everything worked fine for several months, right up until the moment of purchasing and connecting the EasyMesh TP-LINK RE220 network extender.

Now the router freezes several times a day, at random moments. Access to it via the web is lost, all devices, both wired and wireless, are disconnected.
All 5 indicators on the router are green, but if you physically disconnect the WAN and LAN cables from it, the corresponding indicators continue to glow. That is, there is a dead hang.

The router is currently running the Pre-release firmware - Archer C86 V1_1.14.0 Build 240617 (Pre-Release Version).

I am currently figuring it out, and I am simply recording the problem here.

What I plan to do:
1. Disconnected the EasyMesh device, turned off EasyMesh support in the router. Now I'm watching to see if the freezes go away.
2. If the freezes remain, then the router has hardware problems. I'll hand it over to the service center and replace it under warranty.
2. If the freezes stop, I'll roll back the router to the official firmware 1.13, and try to create an EasyMesh network on it again.
3. If there are no freezes with EasyMesh on the stock firmware, I'll stay on it and write to TP-LINK technical support with a description of the problem.
4. If EasyMesh freezes on the stock firmware, I'll bombard TP-LINK with requests, and I'll set up the network extender without using EasyMesh.

@NickolaZ

Thank you very much for reporting the issue to the community.

Can I know how is the RE220 connected to the Archer C86?

Please kindly let me know if the C86 will work stably after you disconnect the RE220 from the network.

  @Kevin_Z

Hello!

I connected the RE 220 expander to C86 router using the WPS button. In the web interface of the router, I pressed the button that initiates the WPS connection, and on the extender I pressed the physical WPS button. After that, the expander appeared on the list of mesh satellites. Next, at the IP address of the extender, I went to its web interface, configured a password there, and registered the extender in my TP-LINK ID. After that, I saw it on the list of cloud devices in the Tether mobile app. The extender worked fine, my devices were seamlessly connected to it, Internet access was provided. But at the same time, the main C86 router began to freeze regularly. I use two separate wireless networks - 2.4 and 5 GHz, without combining them via SmartConnect. Both networks were successfully connected to the extender and are available to connect my devices.

After disabling the expander and turning off the mesh function (8 hours ago), the router no longer hung. I will follow this up for a few days, then I will write the result here.

Hello!

It's been 3 days since EasyMesh was disabled and the RE220 network extender was disabled. During these three days, my router never froze, it works flawlessly. Today, I rolled back the router firmware to Archer C86(RU)_V1_1.13.4 Build 231007 and reconnected the RE220 to the router as an EasyMesh satellite. Now I'll be monitoring the behavior of these connected devices on the official firmware for a few days. I'll report the results here.
