Firmware Version: M5_en_1.7.8

Deco m5 automatic update to the latest firmware. Parent and child connection. They both lost the speed of WiFi but the LAN still works. Tried installing other firmware (downgrade) still the problem is the same. Is there a fix here or will wait for un update firmware to fix this?

Hi,

 

Will all wireless devices have the slow speed issue or only certain devices? 

You can change WIFI settings to 5G only and test if the speed will become normal.

And also check if there are any QoS settings.

 

If the issue still exist, please provide the following information:

1. The speed you can get when connecting to Deco WIFI

2. Your network topology

3. The speed you can get from LAN

Good day, just the 2 deco m5 that was missed when configuring to disable the auto update. Other deco m5 is working just fine. Those 2 mentioned deco are working fine until the update. 

 

My LAN speed is around 800mbs upload and download. I know there is a limit for the speed of deco m5. 

 

The LAN works but the WiFi doesn't give any speed. Tried changing the firmware from the website but that didn't change. 

 

Topology:

Just LAN. Connect with a Tplink 24port giga

 

From my Phone WiFi (Xiaomi 10Tpro with wifi6 capability

)

Just the 2 deco m5 that the autoupdate was not disabled. Other M5 works just fine.

Regarding with the beta version Deco M5_V1/V2/V3 1.7.8_build_20240826_Beta still have the same problem DL speed is 2mbs below, another try in the speedtest; test failed to complete
