There are large marks, blotches or blemishes on the videos and photos taken by this camera at night. It is on the right of the image, and I have arrowed the area on one of the images. These marks do not show during the day.
I have cleaned the lens carefully with a proper camera lens cleaner, examined the lens closely and cannot see any scuff marks or scratches on it.
Could it be that the C720 lens is faulty internally?

Thank you for getting back to me about this.
OK. I have adjust the camera straight ahead into this position. Before, it was turned to the left as far as it could go. I will test it out tonight and see how it goes.
By the way, is that bulb shape under the camera (see arrow) an infrared light for the camera?
