- Added the HomeShield APP block features.
- Added more supported Kasa/Tapo smart devices under Smart Home.
- Improved stability and security of the system.
- Improved the QoS features.
- Fixed the issue that the NordVPN client doesn't work in some cases.
- Fixed the issue that the 240MHz channel width option disappears in some cases.
- Fixed the issue that the IPTV client connected to the satellite Deco couldn't play multicast streams in some cases.
- Fixed the issue that the wireless channel or channel width couldn't be modified in some cases.
- Fixed the issue that the main Deco incorrectly identified the Internet port in some cases.

Update Advice:
1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding.
2. How to manually update the firmware via web UI- How to Update the Firmware of Deco.
3. The 1.1.3 version could revert to the official 1.1.1 directly via web UI.

Can you update the Deco app to have a slider button to turn on beta firmware updates
so we can install them from within the phone app - cheers

Hi, Nice to see you again.
It is supposed to be a good idea. However, the beta firmware was released via cloud OTA and It can't be automatically detected via the Deco APP. Additionally, I think the engineer also wants to control the risks of installing beta firmware.
But it is still suggested to post your feature request here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/2252 so that other users can vote to add more support.

Deco BE85 will also support Guest captive portals, like Deco BE25/23.
I think there might be certain rhymes of the Deco firmware upgrade, for example, Deco X50_V1 is often the first to add new features; then Deco XE75 is usually the next.
However, it was not always like this. The Channel Selection starts with Deco BE models.
Development resources are limited and a specific model will often be picked out to be the first tested model. Being the first model can enjoy the most updated features but also carries the risk of potential network performance decline.
