Model: Tapo C212
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I'm trying to use a C212 camera with zoneminder. I had problem with RTSP which worked with mplayer but not in zoneminder (authorization in describe problem).

Eventually I tried to upgrade the firmware with Tapo app which installed 1.3.14, then I managed to get a working stream with zoneminder.

After that the Tapo app proposed to upgrade to 1.4.4 and then I lost ONVIF !

So I tried to downgrade firmware with the sdcard, the only file I found was Tapo_C212v2_en_1.3.6_Build_230426_Rel.41134n_up_boot-signed_1684325254967.bin which seemed to flash correctly.

But after reboot the camera stay still with red led, answers ping but all ports are closed and the camera does not appear in the Tapo app.

I tried to flash again the 1.3.6 firmware but same result.

Is there a way to get a working firmware to flash again ?

Hi,
We don't suggest downgrading the camera's firmware and do not have the downgrade firmware instructions or the link to download the camera firmware.
You can try to factory reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds, and then check if the camera's LED will change. If the LED has no change at all, it's suggested to contact your retailer or local team to check if the camera is under warranty.
Best Regards
