I've just had a firmware update on my C211 camera and now it won't tilt up and down, it says it's in maximum position (it's not). When initialising it moves to max position left and right but not up and down, I've also tried resetting positions in the app but have the same problem, as I have it mounted in a high position in the garage I need it to tilt down so I have moved it down manually to see the garage door.

 

It was working fine before the update.

Hi,
You can refer to the steps below to troubleshoot if you can't tilt the camera up and down on the Tapo app.
    1) Go to the camera's Device Settings > Pan & Tilt page, tap the Pan & Tilt Correction button to reset your camera to the default position, and check if the camera will Pan or Tilt.
    2) Try to factory reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds, then reconfigure it, and check if the tilt feature will work.

 

If the problem remains, you can contact your retailer or our local team to check if the camera is under warranty.

Thanks for your reply I did try the correction button but the camera still wouldn't move up/down. I pressed the reset button and reinstalled the camera but still the same, what I have done is manually move the lens to the bottom position and have found that I can move it to the position I want on the app as long as I don't go to the centre position.
