Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20240325 rel.39241

I make a new tread as the problem has not been solved.

My main router is BE550 V1 firmware 1.0.11 Build 20240807 rel.25691(5347) and I have two Archer AX73 (version 1 and version 2) and 1 RE705X in easymesh setting.

I have one iphone 13 Pro Max which does not support 160 Mhz in the 5Ghz wifi. For Archer AX73 v2.0 firmware 1.1.0 Build 20240323 rel.70541 when connecting wireless in easymesh, the router could replicate the the main router where I set the 5 Ghz at main router BE550 for 5 Ghz network with Channel width of 20/40/80 Mhz and channel at 149.

However when I connect the Archer AX73 V2.0 above using wired LAN connection (ethernet backhaul), the router will operate at 160 Mhz channel width and channel at 40 which is different from the main router BE550 settings. So My iphone could not find the 5 Ghz network. I do not have problem with the other Archer AX73 v1.0 (this router could replicate the main router BE550 setting and operates at 80Mhz Channel width and at channel 149, which is the same with the main router via ethernet backhaul/ wired LAN). The RE705X is connected wireless in easy mesh.

I have tried many times to reset the Archer AX73 V2 and tried to downgrade the firmware (not allowed to downgrade) but all were fail. Please advice what should I do to make it work. Thanks.

Hi@Pang_Suryadi,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

May I know, is Archer AX73 V2 still under the Mesh list when its channel settings turn to channel 40 and width 60Mhz?

If you remove the Ethernet cable, change it to wireless backhaul, will the channel settings go back to the same as main router's?

Please exchange the LAN ports for the AX73 V2 and AX73 V1 for a comparison.

I use wifi analyzer from my mobile phone to get the frequencies and channel width.

@Pang_Suryadi

For the Archer AX73 for the European region, the latest firmware Archer AX73(EU)_V2_1.1.2 Build 20250210 appeared a few days ago, so have you tried updating your device (if your device is from the EU region), and if not, look for the latest firmware for your region... maybe that would fix the problem, try it!

  @zexoni70

I updated the latest update Archer AX73 V2 all up version 1.1.2 build 20250210 rel 53421 (5553) few weeks ago, and just updated again the firmware with the same version (the latest) and still have the same problem.

After turn on the router Archer AX73 V 2.0, it operates (for the 5 Ghz frequency) at 80 Mhz following the setting at the main router which is BE9300 Tri-band Wi-fi 7. I put the channel width of 5 Ghz frequency at 80 Mhz so I can use my iPhone 13 Pro max (iphone 13 Pro max does not support 160 Mhz). Then few minutes later the Archer AX73 V2 set up new setting by itself, probably the optinum setting (does not follow the setting at main router) which is 5 Ghz frequency at 160 Mhz.

I have another Archer AX73 V 1.0 at easy mesh configuration and this router operates following the main router setting.

Please Tp-link support team to kindly evaluate this problem. Thanks.
