@Kevin_Z I face some issue after updating my GE800 firmware to this pre-released version. After rebooting the GE800 and left it for like 12-18hrs, my internet speed dropped down to just 100mbps up and download speed. My internet plan is 5gbps up and download speed. I tested on Wifi7 and Wifi 6 devices, as well as using a miniPC with a 1 gigabit ethernet port.
The moment i rebooted my router, the internet speed returned back to normal, with my miniPC able to get 750mbps download and 900mbps upload speed. Please see the images below:
This is before upload, with a run time of my router around 18hrs:
This is the speed straight after reboot:
This was not observed when i was using the previous firmware. Can you advise on this? thank you.

@tormont Thank you for reporting a speed issue you're experiencing with the pre-release firmware.
What is the maximum speed you can get on the client devices when you believe that speed is normal, such as on those Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6 devices?
Regarding this miniPC, can you tell me what kind of adapter it is using? Does it work properly before you upgrade the firmware on the GE800? When the speed dropped to ~100Mbps on it, have you logged into the web management page of the GE800 to check the Negotiation speed of the WAN/Internet and LAN ports? You can click on the GE800 icon on the Network Map page, and then scroll down to the button. You will see the Ethernet Status:
I found that you also have another mesh node, HB710, that is connected to the GE800 via Ethernet Backhaul. If you remove it from the network and connect the client devices directly to the GE800, will the speed be stable?

I did not test disconnecting the 2 BE550s.
I have the LEDs turned off on the GE800 & BE550s.
I have the BE550s daisy chained to the GE800 through ethernet cables.
@JC222 Got you. I will report this concern to the dev team to check if they can reproduce it.
BTW, could you please kindly clarify what the client devices are connected to the network, wired and wirelessly? How about their OS versions? Thank you very much.
@JC222 Apologize for tagging you once again. Our development team tried to reproduce the issue you reported, but they failed. They are assuming that this issue may only affect certain client devices, so we're hoping you can help provide the details of the clients you're connecting to the network.
Thank you very much.

@Kevin_Z I have tried when running directly connecting my modem to my computer (without Ge800 router). The speed is 940mbps up and down. In fact there is less jitter. i tried removing HB710 from mesh but it did not improve anything.
I will check the speed negotiation. By the way i did try to downgrade the firmware and i realise that there is no such speed issues.
I realised that once i downgrade the firmware to 1.16 20241120, now realised that the internet will drop every 2hrs or so. I can see the internet run time reset to 0 every two hours and my devices will be disconnected from internet for about 1-2min. Is this normal? Can advise?

This is not normal. When you observed the internet run time reset to 0, was there still a WAN IP address on the GE800? How about its LED status?
If the internet was stable before upgrading the firmware to the pre-release version, please try resetting the GE800 to factory defaults and then reconfigure it from scratch to see if the internet will be normal.
