Our Mother lives alone and because of a recent fall we set up the Tapo C200 in her house. Yesterday she went to the downstairs loo at 5.15pm and according to the camera she came out at 8.05pm. Can the camera have timestamp or connectivity issues without us being notified on the app. Thanks in advance.

Hi, 
Typically, you can see the camera's real-time on the Tapo app > camera's Live View page. If you can't see the real-time, please go to the camera's Device Settings > Video & Display > On-screen Display Settings to enable the Display Time Stamp option.

 

If the camera's time is incorrect, please refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot.

If the camera's time is correct but the motion is not detected, please confirm the following information for analysis.
  1. Please send me a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, and check the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.
  2. Have you inserted an SD card into the camera to store video recordings? If so, please send me a picture of the Recording Schedule page.
  3. How do you confirm that your mother came out at 8:05 PM?
