Model: TC40
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.7

I've currently got RING cameras. I'm the account holder, I pay a subscription and I share them with my wife. She can view the live cameras, get doorbell alerts and VIEW THE CLOUD RECORDINGS.

I've trialing some Tapo cameras. Yes the Tapo hardware is better but the software is lacking in several areas.

I've got 3x C110, 1x C120, 1x C510 1x TC40

I've just shared a camera with her and she can view it live and move it but she cannot see the cloud recordings even though I have now paid for a yearly subscrition of 10 cameras.

This is a major issue and basically renders them useless to us for our needs.

Am i doing something wrong or can this be changed?

  @nw83

Hi,
The shared account has limited access to the camera, and it's unable to watch the cloud video clips. However, the shared account can watch the video clips stored on the inserted SD card.

For the feature request to let the shared account be able to access the cloud video clips, you can vote and leave your detailed usage scenario on the thread "When sharing webcams with my family members they cannot see the cloud videos." for evaluation.

You can also insert an SD card into the camera to store video clips and let the shared account access them.

Best Regards

I've paid for 10 camera cloud usage. Why should I also have to use an SD card?
