@Kevin_Z my smart TV cannot connect to 5ghz, no ipaddress, no submaster, no gateway, the problem has not been solved, my iptv also occasionally loses the 5ghz connection, an update solution is really needed urgently, it irritates me, restarting or resetting the router is a short solution, but that doesn't help

It seems you experienced abnormal or unexpected behavior across different firmware versions.
Have you tried resetting the GE800 to factory defaults and reconfiguring it from scratch to see if it works properly? Please give it a try.

@Kevin_Z as I said before, factory settings help, shortly afterwards I get an IP address, after which the smart TV can no longer connect or reset or restart the router, there really are 5ghz problems with getting an IP address.

@Pro-gamer it seems that your 5GHz connection works fine with other devices, so the issue might be specific to your smart TV or IPTV device. Some TVs have compatibility problems with certain Wi-Fi channels or security modes. You could try setting a fixed 5GHz channel like 36 or 40 and use WPA2-PSK with AES encryption only. Also check if your TV has the latest firmware installed. Since other devices are connecting without problems, this would help confirm whether the issue is on the TV side rather than the router

@Vendex not only TV iptv dishwasher everything breaks with 5 ghz 1.3.1 I had no problem beta 1.3.2 I had the same problem and now normal version 1.3.2 also the same problem it is with update never had WiFi problems before. and I know old devices work with WPA2, that's why double WPA2/WPA3 has existed together since WiFi 6

@Pro-gamer thanks for the clarification. The mixed WPA2/WPA3 mode can actually cause issues with some older or less compatible devices, especially smart TVs and IoT products. Even if they support WPA2, some of them fail to reconnect properly when the router advertises WPA3 at the same time. To rule this out, it might be worth testing your 5GHz band with WPA2-PSK only for a while. If all devices stay stable, that would strongly suggest a compatibility problem on the client side rather than the firmware itself
