  @Kevin_Z Kevin, my router has automatically upgraded to another version 1.2.1 Build 20250610 rel.39070(4555) and I can no longer downgrade when I choose 1.19 and want to downgrade, it gives an error message

@Pro-gamer

ABC_ChoCo is right. This 1.2.1 Build 20250610 rel.39070(4555) is the new official firmware which doesn't include the implementation of the AI QoS we introduced in this thread.

Do you want to use the AI QoS feature, or do you experience any issues?

I will check with the development team to see whether they can provide a new version.

  @Kevin_Z hi, on 1.2.1 I have not had any problems with WiFi, only using QoS actively, speed drops a bit not so stable 6GZ 1.5GB and back to 2.5GB moldy without QoS active 3.GB 6GHz I noticed that, the rest is good firmware 1.2.1

@Pro-gamer How do you use the QoS on the new 1.2.1 version?

@Pro-gamer

If that is the case, you can disable QoS to achieve a better speed.

Our development team will provide a new pre-release version based on the latest 1.2.1 Build 20250610 rel.39070(4555) version. You can test the AI QoS later to check if it provides a stable connection.

BTW, what is the bandwidth you paid for your internet? Is the 3GB or 1.5GB the speed you obtain on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra?

If you have other WiFi 7 devices, you can also test the speed on those devices.laugh

@raven-au Thank you for providing all the valuable information.

Earlier you mentioned that you have 4 WiFi 7 kits. Could you please clarify if you are using them in different networks? Or are you using them at different times in the same network environment? Can both Netgear and ASUS display all client devices accurately in their client lists?

Are you a blogger or an engineer specializing in network devices testing? I'm just out of curiosity. If it's not convenient, that's fine.devil

  @Kevin_Z I purchased them over time and swap them out, one for another, as developments such as new firmware occur.

I can't really comment on the ASUS kit, they are easily the worst WiFi 7 I have, they are generally unstable, they suffer from packet loss mostly for 2.4GHz devices, and consequently communication is often slow or unresponsive.

I think the two best in terms of the device list are the RBE970 and the BE85, both fluctuate but always seem end up at around at least 90 - 100 devices in the list, and devices are responsive.

I'm neither a blogger or a network device tester (although many years ago I managed the install and setup a fibreoptic network at a mine-site, so I am a bit technical), I just like playing with routers.

At one time I was considering getting into wireless driver development and tried to contribute to OpenWrt but wasn't particularly successful and didn't find it enjoyable, also it didn't look like it would lead to wireless code exposure (the recent stuff is usually closed source) so I stopped and continued with file systems related stuff.

@raven-au

Hello Ian, it sounds like you are interested in network equipment (playing with routerslaugh). We are also glad that you chose us, and your performance has been quite good (especially with our Deco BE85, not including the client list concern).

I hope our development team can resolve the client list issue for you soon.

  @Kevin_Z hi xiaomi 14 ultra 3gb normally I achieved 3gb I send screenshot how I now achieve with QoS 6ghz. and if you have a question, I discover that when I turn on OFDMA/MU-MIMO, the internet speed drops by half and when I turn it off, I get to 3GB, but Upload half 1.5GB, is that known to you . and this is without QoS screenshot
