Hi @Kevin_Z
I know you guys are working on the new firmware but I wanted to also share more about bufferbloat testing with bandwidth limiter. Bandwidth limiter does not work the right way, it gives me a lot of bufferbloat extremely more than when there is no qos applied. Upload is especially needed for gaming and that is where at the moment the issues as already said is the problem.
Please to really look into this issue not only qos but bandwidth limiter.
It would also be great to have possibility of shaping only upload with qos and only both.
Hopefully the next firmware fixes all the issues with the feedbacks that has been given.
Have a nice holiday!

@Kevin_Z Hello, why does the Tether app crash as soon as I select the LED loop graphic effect on the GE800? In the sense that as soon as I select to disable the LEDs, I have to do it from the browser and it no longer allows me to do it from the app... otherwise the application will crash. I have no idea what could trigger this anomaly. Do you know if there are already cases like this?
Hello @Forzic
Apologies for missing this reply last week.
What is the Tether App version, and what is the brand and OS version of the phone that is using the Tether App? Is there a chance to test the Tether App management on another phone?
Was there an issue when you were running the previous official or pre-release firmware on the GE800?
If possible, I would like to request a screen recording on the phone while you try to select the LED loop graphic effect and the Tether App crashes.
Thank you very much.

Hi @Forzic,
I did encounter syncing issue with the router when using the tether app. For example, I would turn on a feature and on the router page it would be off (or vice versa).
I think it should be look at why it does not sync correctly.
This is the reason i deleted the tether app to avoid problems.
Can you please also help check more details about the syncing issue with the router when using the Tether App?
Do you remember which version of the Tether App you're using?

@Kevin_Z When will a stable firmware be released? I'm using version 1.3.1, and the router keeps rebooting during use, which is incredibly frustrating. I bought a flagship gaming router, but it doesn't seem to be delivering the results I've been looking for. I don't know how many months I've been waiting.

I don’t remember the exact version, but I turned off auto-update using the web interface. However, at some point it still updated to the new firmware. When I checked in the app, the option was turned on.
