I bought the new Deco M4 AC1200, and I faced a problem installing its Ethernet, as the cat6 requires 8 wires to be installed but when i cut the wire off i found it only have 6 wires with different colors (eg. cat6 requires a brown wire, my wire is green)
does anybody have an idea on how to fix this issue ?
Hi, the Cat 5E cable is also capable of 1 Gbps. Maybe the Ethernet cable in the package is not a standard Cat 6 cable.
Would you run into any issues if you connected the main Deco M4 via your own Cat 6 cable to the ISP modem/gateway?
