Both my cameras are ignoring people in the detection zones. The C410 is showing people walking away but not towards our back garden which is why I bought this camera. My friend advised me that he had 7 of different Tapo cameras and has had no problems with his. But both mine including a C100 indoor camera covering our front door are both acting the same and I don't know why.

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if the detection feature is not working properly.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
 

If the same behavior occurs, please confirm the following information.
  1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us the screenshots of both the Detection and Wake-up Sensitivity pages. Please also check the sensitivity value of the enabled detection types.
  2. Send us a video showing that the person within the detection zone can't be detected by the camera.

 

You can upload the video and picture to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
