Please make sure you've reset the hub correctly: press and hold the SYNC button for 10 seconds. If the hub still shows no responses, then this device should be replaced. To proceed warranty, you may contact the retailer or local TP-Link support.
About your case, we would like to know more background info. Can you share some details with us? For example, what IR appliances were linked to the hub? Please share their brands and models. What router do you use? Have you synced these devices to any third-party platforms? Through Tapo integration (Tapo Skill) or through Matter?
