Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Deco XE75(US)_V1_1.4.5 Build 20241129

I am having a constant issue with my Google devices remaining stable on the DECO network.

I have set up a IoT network dedicated to 2.4Ghz. My Google hub devices regularly (at least once an hour) drop off the network. Sometimes for a moment  and then they immediately reload, other times for longer periods. I have turned off Mesh on the devices and have tried dedicating them to an individual Deco to no avail. This is very frustrating as it always seems to be at an inconvenient time that they drop out, such as wehn I have a command to give.

Any ideas why this is happening? IO do notice that I regularly get the radar interference message to say I have been dropped to 80mhz. The 5Ghz and 6Ghz network seems to run smoothly. The decos themselves do not drop out and I can remain online on my other devices. (It is randomly doing it now as I type this my google hub is reconnecting). I am ready to give up on the decos and go back to using my router supplied byt my telco.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  @Casiochris VERY well known issue, due to a very wide 2.4ghz band that cannot be changed and this does not play well if you have neighbors or other 2.4ghz stuff. Try to get hold of the modded version support have that fixes this. No public release of this has been forthcoming as far as I know, despite this issue/fix being known / avaialble for at least a year or more.

  @Casiochris

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback. There is a beta firmware for Deco XE75_V1_1.4.5 that allows Deco units in the same Mesh network to use non-overlapping 2.4GHz channels for mobile devices. I think it would help improve the Google Hub stability.

If you're interested, you can find the download link in the private message.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.
