No way to get a notification if a device goes offline

When a TAPO or KASA device goes offline, it would be good to get a notification when it goes offline so I can investigate and bring it back online. I've resigned myself to having this problem and have followed all the tips to try to stop devices going offline, including setting up DHCP reservations on all devices so they keep the same IP address, to no avail. It seems to be a design flaw that the device doesn't seem to periodically try to re-connect after going offline for whatever reason.

Hi,
For the feature request to have an offline notification for your device, it's recommended to vote and share your comments in the thread "Why there is no offline notification for Tapo cameras?" for evaluation.

Typically, you can follow the instructions below to troubleshoot if your device keeps going offline.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going offline?

If your device has the Auto Reboot feature, you can enable it and check if it helps.

Best Regards
