Hardware Version: V20
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

 

New camera added to app, works fine but after a while it won't disconnect and lights up amber constantly, found out that the camera isn't connecting to the cloud, I'm using a memory card. Is there a solution to that? The error appears every time after restarting the camera.

After trying the camera for a whole week without it working, I put in a memory card and reset the camera. The first test after this the camera went offline with the same error. I turned it off and on again, this time the camera worked. Obviously you have to be patient. It has now worked fine for a whole week.

Hi, 
Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.


  1. What's the model number of your router? Do you have an internet connection on your phone when connecting to your router's Wi-Fi?


  2. Can you restore the camera to connect to our cloud server(Solid green LED)? If so, what did you do, such as rebooting the camera again, rebooting the router, resetting the camera and reconfiguring it, or other steps?


  3. Disable Firewall rules, Access Control, and Parental Control entries on your home router if there is one, then reboot the router. Try to change the DNS server on your home router. Then, test if they are helpful.


  4. You can enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset the camera, configure it with another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and then check if you can control it remotely and constantly.
