:(
You can try resetting it using the physical button on the back of the Deco; maybe that will work.

Very good update on my deco be65 v2.
out of curiosity: disabling QoS ( I don't need really, it's only a workaround for bufferbloat problem) , if i run speed test (6 ghz) with iphone 17 pro max download 1.3 gbps / upload 500 (full). With Ipad M2 download 1.0 gbit / upload 173 (poor). Enabling Qos download speed gives results around 900 mbit and upload around 500 (maximum on my profile DL 2.5/ UL 500).
Thanks

holding the reset button only removes the settings not the firmware.
I have done lots of testing and I believe the update has confused the unit. It believes it is using wireless backhaul but when I removed the network cable from the switch it goes offline which tells me it was using wired backhaul. I think the update has completely disabled the wireless radios because if I do a reset the only way I can add it back in the app is if I connect it directly with a cable. I just ordered a new unit and will be sending the broken on back.

Yes, I know, I mentioned it so you could try reconnecting the problematic device to the network, either wired or wirelessly, and updating its software.

I have tried all of the suggestions with no luck. I have been working with TP-Link support directly and they can't seem to figure out what is going on so I have already ordered a new unit which i should get today.

I update the situation. This firmware improves upload problems even if in my opinion there are some problems with wifi 6e devices. I give you results hoping to be useful.
one ssid 2,4, 5 and g ghz. MLO off, channel width 160 mhz. QoS off. FTTH 2,5/500 with ont nokia 2,5 wan port.
iphone 17 pro max (connected 6 ghz): test is ok, DL 1,3 gbit/UL 508
ipad air m2 (supports wifi 6e not 7, connected 6 ghz): DL ok, 1,1 gbit. Upload poor, 210
test ipad air m2 wired through adapter connected via usb c to ipad.. DL 2 gbit / UL 512. Perfect.
Thanks

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
I have seen similar feedback earlier, and the engineer has offered a new beta firmware based on 1.2.10.
I've left a message with this beta version. Could you please help me test whether it helps?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

TP-Link = Regret..."
"While I can see maximum speeds (D 990mbps / U 980mbps) through the Deco App's internal speed tests on my TP-Link Deco BE65v2, the WiFi upload speeds (D 923mbps (OK) / U 320mbps(Not OK)) never reach their full potential, even from just 10 cm away. It behaves as if there’s a hard speed limit. Occasionally it stabilizes and hits max speeds, but then it starts acting up again—it's driving me crazy. The beta firmware reduced the disconnections, but the performance is still abysmal.
Other Settings :
Mesh on ethernet
MLO is Off
Active chanelle 5&6Ghz / Inactive 2.4GhzQOS is Off
Priority : There is no prioritization for any device.

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.
I noticed you mentioned before that the beta firmware was accidentally updated to the Deco BE65-Outdoor. In this way, I don't think the firmware itself caused the reported issues.
A firmware recovery could help revert to the original firmware, but it usually helps when users want to downgrade firmware versions across different firmware platforms on the same model. If you're interested, you can refer to How to use firmware recovery if the Deco become brick

I have had terrible luck with this update. I updated my BE65-outdoor unit to this firmware version and its basically a brick now. It will no longer connect via wired backhaul and instead uses wireless backhaul. When you get out of range of the other decos it now doesn't broadcast any SSIDs from the unit itself. I have factory reset and readded the unit atleast 10 times and the issues still remain. I have cameras that are only in range of this unit and they no longer connect. When you try to pair the cameras if says no wifi connection found. Prior to the update all devices connected just fine. I have tried phones and laptops and all act the same. I really wish there was a way to revert back to the previous firmware.
Best regards

Is it possible to get more and stable download speed on satellite unit than the main unit?
I leave one of my satellite unit with the stock firmware 1.1.6 while my main is 1.2.1.
For some reason I can get more download speed (over 300+mbps most of the time / wifi5 with 433 link speed) on the satellite. When I connected to the main Deco the speed usually stuck at 280-290.
My main unit is on 2rd floor while Satellite on 3rd floor (wireless backhaul) and I still get more speed on satellite for some reason. Test in front of each Deco unit.
