  @Kevin_Z

Is this next version to be available for a larger set of routers? Can you share the list?

Wdym with "the modifications mentioned here in this pre-release may not be included in the next version"? Will be possible to extend Guest/IoT/MLO to satellites?

Thanks!

@Kevin_Z When update will be rolled out via automatic updates?

Hello @kislorod

Thanks for asking.

The next version of the official firmware is still in testing and is expected to be available at the end of April.

However, the modifications mentioned here in this pre-release may not be included in the next version, as I learned from the team.

Do you experience any issues with this pre-release version? Please provide as much detail as you can, and we can try to figure it out.

Yesterday

I have upgraded both my BE550's with no isses everything went smoothly.

I have 1 problem the MLO network is still not showing on my satellite only on my main router. I do have the random default TP-Link_24A4 SSID broadcasting from my satellite, I'm not sure whats going on as I have tried evrything I can think of to get the MLO broadcasting from the satellite but to no avail.

sounds like you haven't set it up as a satellite and are using it as an access point.

did you configure easy mesh and add the second device as a sateligr

That’s weird. The satellite should have the exact same networks as the main, but I can see that 2.4 and 5 ghz channels are separate in one and using smart connect on the other. I’d factory reset the satelite, and readd it into the mesh

@Naebun apologies I was not keeping tabs on this thread recently.

I had not attempted to adjust the width previously but I can get some testing in there.

I was hoping to have found stability but unfortunately the main router is no longer showing clients in the tether app and I can't log into the webUI anymore so I will need to do a reset. When Entering the local Password (or tplink id) the screen flashes like it is going to log into but then loads back to the password entry screen. I am still able to log into the satellite webUI and that shows clients just fine. This took much longer to occur than previously noted when using routers without traffic separation support, although I don't know exactly which day this started.

I did also note one of my devices showing 1TB of data usage erroneously for a couple of days. I confirmed it was not actually using that much data through my ISP but shocking to see nonetheless.

@Kevin_Z any suggestions here? Thank you for your time. Let me know if I can clarify anything.

Just kind of a recap here.

2x BE550 with beta firmware for traffic separation

Satellite is wired to main router

Main,MLO,Guest,IOT on all available bandwidths

Symptoms:

Tether app stops showing clients for both main and satellite. Still shows traffic but none of the traffic reports load.

Unable to log into WebUI for main router but can log into satellite.

Still functions normally as far as I can tell. I have not seen any network degradation paired with this.

So far I've been unable to find a fix outside of a reset.

Are all these abnormal behaviors occurring when the BE9300 V2.6 and AX73 V1 join the EasyMesh network?

What is the detailed network topology? 2*BE550 V2, 1*BE9300 V2.6, and 1*AX73 V1, right?

If possible, please remove the 1*BE9300 V2.6 and 1*AX73 V1 from the network, and leave only the 2*BE550 V2. Then confirm whether the reported abnormal behaviors disappear.

@lorenz29

Sorry. I cannot provide a list of models that will receive new official firmware recently.

"the modifications mentioned here in this pre-release may not be included in the next version"

--- This means the next version of firmware will include other modifications and changes, but not those mentioned here in this thread. You may see the changes in the next firmware version after that.

Current topology is just the 2 BE550 V2s. Satellite wired to main.

(Edit: I reset the BE550s after removing these)

I took the BE9300 V2.6 and AX73 V1 out after seeing this behavior initially.

I have included a couple of screenshots of the tether app showing no clients and then the webUI for the satellite BE550 V2 which I am able to log into still.
