Having different network issues after I added XE75 Pro as a main Deco to my X50 mesh in AP mode. IoT devices lose connection, Apple Home stops working for some devices while brand apps can control them and needs restart, 2.5 GbE connection is randomly downgraded to 100 Mbps and is restored after unplugging the cable for a moment. Deco app doesn't show signal level if I tap Signal on device details screen (which worked pretty well for X50 after 1.8 firmware update), shows many wifi devices as wired, IoT devices under main network or not at all and sometimes shows all network devices that are connected to main router. Even my Synology NAS has stopped working several times and only cutting the power helped which has never happened before.

Did the Deco units connect to each other all via WiFi Backhaul?

Can I have a screenshot of the network topology, such as:

Hi,

 

I have ethernet backhaul ISP router -> 2.5 GbE Switch -> X75 Pro -> X50 -> X50. If I connected main Deco directly to ISP router, I got every lan device in my Deco app.

 

Link speed has not downgraded for a few days after I moved main Deco closer to switch and using another cable, so this may be solved. Yesterday most of the IoT devices were shown under main network and many wireless clients were shown as ethernet clients. After Deco reboot IoT devices were back under IoT network, but many devices were offline in the app, but actually had connection. Today they still were offline and after I blocked/unblocked each device (some I had to restart) they showed up online again.

 I installed the beta, but several wireless devices again showed up as ethernet devices. Didn't test more, because the Deco app offered me to upgrade to firmware 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 47884 and I did.

It seems that this firmware switching has stabilized my network enough so that everything seems pretty stable last couple of days. Only app still don't show me exact signal strength of the devices and one time I noticed one offline phone was showing up as wired device.

Is there any info on when XE75 Pro (v3) is upgraded to newer firmware platform with Matter support and ability to select wifi channels like I had with X50?

Hi, there hasn't been further news on when Deco XE75 Pro will support Channel Selection and Matter.

But there is a new 1.4.0 firmware with some new features ready for test:

Firmware 1.4.0 for Deco XE75/XE5300/XE75 Pro_V2/V3 Added Wi-Fi Access Control, WireGuard VPN & More
