Hi Tapo Support Team,

We have been trying to purchase Tapo C520WS and other Tapo products in India for the last few months, but they are not available on Amazon, Flipkart, or other major e-commerce platforms.

Not only the C520WS, but many Tapo products such as indoor/outdoor cameras, smart switches, smart buttons, and the Tapo hub are also out of stock for a long time. We had already chosen the Tapo ecosystem because it was convenient to manage cameras and smart devices in one app.

Now we are planning to add a few more cameras (especially C520WS), but the long-term unavailability is creating a major concern for us. Migrating to another brand will be a big decision, involve additional cost, and impact our existing setup.

Could you please let us know:

  • Whether Tapo products will be available again in India

  • Expected timelines, if any

  • Or if there is any official store, distributor, or alternate channel to purchase Tapo products in India

Your clarification will help us decide whether to continue with the Tapo ecosystem or move to another brand.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Sathes

  @Satheskumar

Hi,
We do not have the sales information about when and where the Tapo product will be available in your region. Below are some steps to help you check product availability and where to buy:

1. Check the local TP-Link website for your region:
   • If the Tapo camera model is listed, it's either already available or will be soon.
   • If you see a "Coming Soon" label, the product is planned for release in your country or region.
   • If you can't find the model, there are currently no plans for a near-term release.

2. Where to buy and pricing:
Please check https://www.tp-link.com/where-to-buy/ to find authorized retailers in your area.

Note: Product inventory and availability may vary between retailers depending on their sales plans for different models.

Best Regards

Hey, recently i learned that due to non-compliance of some indian regulation TAPO or TP-link has not been able to sell in india. (since 1st April 2026)
They however do promise to update their cctv and other affected procuts witht the latest standrds and norms required to sell in Indian market. Soon the products will start to appear on platforms -and i am sure- at introductory prices for loyal users like you and me who have chosen thi ecosystem.
