Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
Deco IPV6 delegated prefix has to be /64. Even when the ISP assigns /56 or /60, Deco will automatically pad prefixes to 64 bits.
As for a higher Linux-based beta version, I'll record it and report to the engineer later.
Best regards.

Thanks for the clarification on IPv6, but I still think supporting larger delegated prefixes more fully would be a valuable improvement for advanced IPv6 deployments.
As for the Linux kernel, I could not find official download links for previous firmware versions, so I am unable to compare or roll back. Because of that, I cannot tell whether the kernel base I observed is specific to this beta only, or also used in stable/final releases.
Thanks,

I share the same feeling as @natszirt
While these may be different IPv6 issues technically, they seem to expose the same limitation in Deco: IPv6 is supported, but advanced control and observability are still very limited.
Whether the issue is delegated prefix handling, MTU/PMTUD behavior, RA/default route visibility, or general troubleshooting, the current UI exposes very few IPv6 parameters compared with IPv4.
It would be very valuable if future firmware added more IPv6-specific controls and diagnostics, not just basic connectivity.
Option 2 is:
Let the Decos as AP and buy a router 😔
Thanks again

Hi all,
After updating to the beta firmware, I am experiencing serious compatibility issues between my Deco XE75 V2 setup and several legacy or non-Wi-Fi 6 devices.
The affected devices include:
-Samsung A04
-Samsung A26 5G
-An old Samsung TV with Tizen and Wi-Fi 5
All of these devices are able to connect to the Deco network, but their download speeds drop to below 1 Mbps, making normal internet use almost impossible. The same behavior appears consistently across all three devices.
I have already tried the following without success:
disabling 5 GHz and 6 GHz
disabling Beamforming
disabling Fast Roaming
creating a Guest Network
lowering security to WPA2
None of these changes solved the issue.
Current setup:
-ONT 940mbps FTTH
-Deco XE75 V2 as main router using PPPoE
-switch + wired backhaul UTP Cat 6.
-2 additional Deco XE75 V2 units
At this point it looks like the beta may have introduced a compatibility issue with older or non-Wi-Fi 6 clients.
All other wifi 6 clients are working with no issues even connected to the same Deco unit.
Has anyone else seen similar behavior, or is there any recommended workaround?
Thanks.

Hi, nice to see you again.
I did see a similar feedback before on Deco XE75 Pro, not yet on Deco XE75, and would like to forward your case to the senior engineer for further assistance.
Please check whether you've received my email.
Best regards.

I am having the same issues described by other users after updating to this beta version
Network of 3 XE75 connected as routher in mesh mode, with 2,4, 5 and 6GHz activated
- Some devices connect but with 0 bandwith (mainly Samsung phones, but also a Dell laptop and a PS5)
- Other devices workinhg with no problem (Pixel Phone, severa xziaomi phones and tablets, and IOT devices connected to the IPT Network)
- There are several wired devices that work with no problem
- Wireless backhaul seems to be working with no problem
To solve the problem I have had to get my Deco M5's out of the storage box and connect them as a paralel network in AP mode and the Samsungs and the PS5 are connected to it and working with no problem.

Updated:
I just uploaded a new beta firmware, which would help with the speed issue on Samsung devices.
It is suggested to test whether the beta firmware helps.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
