Model: Tapo C220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.4.2

After updating the firmware on version 1.4.2, the RTSP/ONVIF connection to the camera account does not work, so it is not possible to connect from third-party applications. Plus, the frame rate has been reduced from 30 to 25 fps in the new firmware.
Was this a new firmware upgrade or downgrade? 😖

Is info about the repair of these bugs?

Hi,
1. The Tapo C220 with the latest firmware supports RTSP & ONVIF protocols. If you fail to establish the RTSP/ONVIF connection, please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot.
What can I do if fail to stream the Tapo camera via the RTSP/ONVIF protocol?

If the same phenomenon persists, please confirm:
    1) The third-party apps you are using (e.g., Agent DVR, VLC).
    2) The URL used to stream the camera, such as rtsp://IP Address/stream1(For high-quality stream1).
    3) The error message that appears if there is one.
    4) Please list the troubleshooting you did and the test results.

2. Please go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Powerline Frequency page and select 60Hz. Then go to the Video & Display > Frame Rate page to see if you can choose 30fps.

Best Regards
