Hi all,

I am based in Ireland and trying to connect the TAPO C501GW to the Three (mobile carrier) network using a new unlocked nano sim, but for some reason it won't connect and the camera keeps flashing orange. I have tried resetting it, manually inputting the APN and anything else I could find already on here.

The camera itself is working when I tried it with an Ethernet connection, but I will be putting in a remote place with no wired connection available and need the sim option.

Grateful if you could advise how to fix this?

Thank you.

Hi,
The flashing orange LED indicates the camera is not connecting to the internet. In this situation, you can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot.
Troubleshooting guide for Tapo 4G camera

If the same phenomenon persists, please confirm the following information.
  1. What are the supported frequency bands of your SIM card?
  2. When the SIM card is inserted into your phone, do you have internet through the SIM card?

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee thank you.

The supported frequency bands on the sim are B1/B3/B7/B20/B28.

and yes the sim is working fine in my phone.
