I have 2 cameras and a doorbell on my Tapo app.

All work fine but the app is slow and keeps giving error messages.

It is up to date.

I dont really want to uninstall because it will take forever to set up my cameras and lights around the house.

Its not my broadband. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
1. You can try to download and install the latest Tapo app on a different phone, log in to the Tapo app with your TP-Link account, and then test if you can control your cameras and doorbell smoothly.
Typically, uninstalling and reinstalling the Tapo app won't cause the Tapo devices to be factory reset. You can re-log into the Tapo app with the same TP-Link account to manage them directly.

 

2. What error message will prompt when controlling your cameras in the Tapo app? Do you see the same error message when controlling your other Tapo devices, such as bulbs?
