Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my three x50 POE access points. The access points only allow 100mbits to pass through. I have already checked everything. I checked my network cabling with a professional metre (Fluke DSX 602) and it is fine. I also replaced my POE switch. In everything I get the full bandwidth of 500mbits.

If I disconnect the decos from the switch and connect them again, I also get 500mbits for the first 5-10 minutes, but then the connection drops back to 100mbits.

I'm starting to get really annoyed. Everything I could read so far in the forum was not helpful.

Hi,
The Deco X50-PoE has two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. From your description, it sounds like the Deco has a high associated speed (>1000 Mbps) when plugged into the PoE switch, but after a few minutes, the associated speed drops to 100 Mbps, so the download speed drops to 100 Mbps.

Please try to disconnect a Deco X50-PoE from the PoE switch, connect the same Ethernet cable from the switch to a computer, test the associated speed and download speed on the PC every 10 minutes, for a total of 3 times, then confirm whether the associated speed and download speed on the PC are stable.

You can go to www.speedtest.net to test the download speed, and refer to the following instructions to find the associated speed on your PC: How to check the associated/link speed on a wired client

If the PC consistently achieves a 500 Mbps download speed, please provide the following information for analysis.
  1. Please describe your network diagram. Is it modem-- router-- PoE switch--3 * Deco X50-PoE?
  2. What's the model number of your PoE switch?

Best Regards
