Hi,
"802.11r or /r or roaming, NOT WORKING AND DONT APPEAR /r or 802.11r feature "ON" IN SPECTRUM SCAN."
- I understand the situation you're saying, but I also want to confirm whether the "Fast Roaming" option in the Deco app is enabled and the specific details of the roaming behavior, so we can further analyze whether there is an issue with the Deco's roaming feature. It's appreciated if you could provide a screenshot from the spectrum scanner showing that 802.11k/v is working, but 802.11r is not.
The wireless download speeds of the Android phone and the desktop are around 900 Mbps when connected to the Deco network, which may be because the wired association speed between the main Deco and the ONT is capped at 1000 Mbps, preventing the main Deco's wired and wireless speeds from exceeding that limit. The wired associated speed depends on factors such as the devices' port specifications and the Ethernet cable used. Since the X50-PoE features 2.5 Gbps ports, could you please connect a PC directly to the ONT to check whether the link speed exceeds 1000 Mbps?
How to check the associated/link speed on a wired client
Regarding the slow Wi-Fi speeds experienced by iPhones connected to the Deco, do you observe the same slow speeds when the iPhone connects to a different Wi-Fi band (such as 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) on the main network or on the guest network?
Best Regards
