We are having the exact same problem. Everything was flawless prior to the Deco updating itself to 1.3.2 and now our entire home network is useless. I have rebooted and reset the main unit and satellites multiple times. The wired backhaul fails constantly and we are unable to do our work without using the hotspots on our telephones. Also, the management of kids' profiles completely broke - their devices were totally unable to connect to the network while assigned to their profiles, so we had to turn off that feature. This has been working flawlessly for years prior to 1.3.2. This should be a priority issue for your engineers to fix. My recommendation is for you to take the firmware version prior to 1.3.2 and rename it to 1.3.3 and push it out immediately. And all for what? Some AI chat agent in the app?

Same issues here with the latest firmware.  The most recent update is unstable and so slow!

Is there a path to back-level to the prior firmware?  I tried to download and update it manually, but the TP Link admin console told me I needed to use the latest version. Ugh.

Help!?

Hi, welcome to the community.

To identify and resolve the drop phenomenon occurring with the latest firmware on Deco BE63, I would appreciate it if you could verify the information in this post for further analysis.
However, if you prefer to downgrade to the previous firmware, please follow the instructions here: How to Fix a Bricked TP-Link Deco Using Firmware Recovery

Best Regards

Good morning, I would like to know if the recovery method described in this publication How to Fix a Bricked TP-Link Deco Using Firmware Recovery is 100% reliable, as I do not want to render my Deco BE63 system unusable. I currently have version Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.3.2 Build 26040912, and I want to downgrade to Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.2.10 Build 20251229

Hi,
I believe the firmware recovery method described in the instructions is reliable. For the Deco BE63, it's recommended to use Method 2 to downgrade the firmware.

Your case is being followed up on the ticket TKID260585445. To help us locate and resolve the issue more effectively, it's recommended to contact our technical support team via email.

Best Regards

Hi All,
If you experience abnormal phenomena, such as network instability or device disconnections, after upgrading the Deco BE63 V2 firmware to v1.3.2, we suggest trying the tips below and providing more details about the disconnection. This will help us identify and resolve the issue. Thank you for your cooperation.

1. Please go to the Deco app > More > QoS page and check if the QoS feature is enabled. If it is, please turn it off and check if this helps.

2. Please describe the phenomenon you are experiencing, and share details about the disconnection so we can further analyze the issue:
    1) Please describe your network topology, or go to the Deco app > Network tab, tap on a Deco unit, and send us screenshots of the "Show Map" and "Show List" pages.
    2) Who is your ISP? What is the "Internet Connection Type" listed under Deco app > More > Internet Connection?
    3) What is the LED status on the main Deco and satellite Deco units when the issue occurs?
    4) How many devices are connected to the Deco network? When the issue occurs, do devices stay on Wi‑Fi but lose internet, or disconnect from Wi‑Fi? Do all devices experience the issue simultaneously?
    5) How do you restore the connection? For example, does rebooting the Deco nodes temporarily restore the connection?
    6) Please let us know if you have any special settings enabled, such as Parental Controls, VPN, etc.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Good evening

With all due respect to the TP-LINK technical support team, after so many posts regarding the Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.3.2 Build 26040912 update issue, I believe we, as users, have already made it very clear all the errors this update contains. We have been explaining the consequences for over two weeks.

Regarding the post I am replying to, I believe we, as users, have made it very clear that the fault lies not with us, but with the update itself, because our network topology, DNS, number of connected devices, ISP, and other factors were the same before the update; we didn't change anything.

With the Deco BE63(US)_V2.6_1.2.10 Build 20251229 update, everything worked perfectly, maintaining the same topology and the settings I mentioned earlier.

I think we've already given them too much information for them to release an urgent update and fix the problem, since the issue lies with the firmware developers, not us as users.

The Deco BE63 system is quite expensive, and I think we chose it because we wanted a premium experience, both in hardware and software. I've often regretted buying the Deco system because it's very limited in its configurations; even a $50 TP-Link router has more professional and specific settings.
