I currently have two deco X50 at my network, and I want to set a simple guest password with wpa2 personal. However, the app is enforcing me to use Uppercase, numbers and special characters.
I understand any possible risks associated with a weak password, however this is my network and I want to be able to set any password that is compatible with the standard, not something enforced by tp link; How can I do that?

As others have found, password requirement is enforced by Deco app, not by X50 firmware. It used to be that Guest Network didn't require password at all.
If you can find install file of older version Deco app, you'll gain back ability to set weak or even no password for Guest Network. You should be careful with googling for older versions of Deco app, they do exist on third party Web sites but there is no guarantee they are legitimate and not some sort of malware for smartphone.

Just want to point that this is not just Brazil. I am in Canada, I lost ability to enable Guest Network without password, which I had before.
