Model: Archer BE805
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Dear all, just got my BE805. I've done the setup, but my devices are unable to detect the 6GHz connection, despite my phone supporting WiFi 7 6GHz.

I tried updating the firmware and enabling/disabling MLO, but the issue is still happening. I'm from Malaysia, and this router was bought locally. I'm also certain that 6GHz is supported in this region.

Tried to enable 6GHz from my phone's hotspot, but other phones were still able to detect the connection from the phone, but not from the router.

I would appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you in advance.

Hello @ShadowFreak ,

Welcome to our community.

If your devices are unable to detect the 6GHz network of your TP-Link router, please refer to the troubleshooting steps below:
    1. Open the Tether app and navigate to Tools > Wireless Settings. Ensure the 6GHz network is enabled and not hidden.
    2. Confirm that your client device supports 6GHz Wi-Fi, and that both the device drivers and operating system are up to date.
    3. Ensure that both your router and client device are being used in a country or region where Wi-Fi 6E/7 operation is permitted. If the router and client device were purchased in different countries, Wi-Fi 6E operation may not be available.
    4. Enable the 6Ghz of guest network on the router for comparison.

For further information, please refer to: What if my device failed to detect the 6 GHz Wi-Fi Band

In addition, please help collect the following suggestions:

  • The models and OS of your clients.
  • The firmware version of your router.
