TAPO C200 Sound feedback
TAPO C200 Sound feedback
I've tested the "voice call" feature of the C200 from the app.
When I say "hello" into my phone, after a short delay I can hear my own voice back on the phone.
Meaning, I say Hello, the C200 speaker says Hello, then the C200 microphone picks up the Hello I just emitted (that's the problem), and it is played back to me on my phone.
This is then followed by a few echo sounds.
I was definitely in a room far away, to be clear.
Aren't microphones supposed to filter out sounds emitted by the same device? Is this a bug? Or something I have to live with?

Hey, I have the same issue. Using the call button, there's a horrible feedback. And when using Push to talk, the mic cuts off for like a lifetime. TP-Link, fix this sh*t.

Same problem with my C200, camera is at home, I'm connecting from work, voice call is useless.

Yeah my main issue is the mic on the camera cuts out when using the talk button from the app and doesn't come back on for about 5 to 10 seconds. So if I'm using this for my daughter when she wakes up. I can talk to her and then can't hear what she says for 10 seconds. It's a but useless.
Also when using the call option the camera is 100% picking up its own speaker audio on the mic as it will loop the sounds over and over even when I connect from outside through multiple closed doors.
This has to be fixable through a firmware update surely?

Hi,
For the Two-way audio, it worked on the simplex mode which means either talking or listening, not together;
Based on what you have described, it seemed like the audio on the other side of the camera was delayed for a while, right?
When the audio is delayed, how about the live view image, and did it also delay several seconds?
Thank you very much.

I have the same problem. I have the TAPO C210 and TAPO C310 but the two-way audio seems to be inaudible specially in the camera side. The volume is already at max and my internet speed is 150mbps. I need to almost shout on my mobile device in order for me to hear at the camera side.

I'm having the same issue, lots of feeback type of noise when I'm not on my internal network. TP-Link is there a fix for this? If not this is a total waste of money for me.

This is also my problem with Tapo C210 and C310.. the speaker from the cameras sounds horrible. I think this is a common problem with all Tapo cameras.
